How to apply a temporary tattoo

Clean and wet, press, peel, then let it develop. It looks light at first and darkens over 24–48 hours.

Step by step

1 · Prepare

Clean and wet the skin

Choose skin without lotion, oil or heavy hair. Clean and wet the spot with the pre-moistened pad from your box.

2 · Press

Press the design on

Place it on the damp skin and press evenly for 20–30 seconds.

3 · Peel

Peel off the film

Lift the film slowly from one corner. Don’t rub the fresh design. Unlike a sticker tattoo, it isn’t finished yet.

4 · Develop

Let it develop: 24–48 hours

It goes on light and darkens on its own over the next two days to a blue-black shade, close to tattoo ink.

Right after the film comes off it looks faint and grey. That is normal.

While it develops
Keep oils, lotion and friction away.
Showers
Once it has developed, normal showers are fine. Avoid rubbing the design.
Scrubs
Exfoliating scrubs wear it down faster, so skip them on that spot.
It fades on its own
Tested wear range is 4–22 days, depending on placement: how long temporary tattoos last.
Taking it off sooner
It can’t be washed off at once. After a few days, exfoliate gently once a day with warm salt water, a body scrub or a washcloth; each round lifts a little more. Stop if it stings.
