On your skin
What’s in it
Genipin, a dye from the jagua fruit, with alcohol and water, on a clear adhesive film. More in what’s in a semi-permanent tattoo.
If your skin reacts
Genipin can cause an allergic reaction. Try a small piece first and check it at 48 hours. What to do if your skin reacts
Taking it off sooner
It fades on its own as your skin renews. Gentle exfoliation, warm water and an oil-based cleanser can speed fading, but it won’t come off at once. Taking a temporary tattoo off sooner
